Tots Tables – Children’s Chair & Table Hire FAQ

Does chair hire include a table?

Yes. For every four children’s chairs you hire, one table is included as standard.
If you prefer a different setup—such as two chairs per table—just let us know and we’ll arrange it to suit your event.

Is the hire price per hour?

No. All chair and table hire is priced per day.
If you need the items for longer, we can extend your hire at a daily rate depending on the event type and availability. As a growing business, we are flexible and happy to work around your schedule.

When will my items be delivered?

Delivery times depend on your event and location, but we offer flexible delivery options.
We may be able to deliver the day before your event or a few hours beforehand.

Additional delivery charges may apply if:

  • You are outside our standard service area

  • There is an extended wait time

  • Items are not ready for collection at the agreed time

We’ll confirm all delivery details during booking.

Why is there a breakage deposit?

We take a breakage deposit to cover extreme cases, such as items being lost, stolen, or damaged beyond repair.
Every booking includes a 30% refundable deposit based on your hire cost. As long as the items are returned in good, usable condition, we refund the deposit once the hire period ends.

We understand children make mess—our products are durable and easy to wipe clean—so don’t worry about normal use.

How can I book and pay?

Once you send us your event details, we’ll confirm availability and any delivery arrangements.
Payment can be made via:

  • PayPal (we’ll send you a link), or

  • Bank transfer

Your booking is secured once payment is received.

Can I cancel my booking?

Yes, cancellations do happen. Our refund policy is as follows: This does not include the £50.00 deposit to secure the date, which is non-refundable.

  • 6 weeks before event: 100% refund

  • 2 weeks before event: 50% refund

  • 1 week before event: 25% refund (including delivery cost)

Changing your event date:

  • Free date changes with at least 6 weeks’ notice

  • Changes after 6 weeks may incur a 10% fee, unless we are able to rebook your original date for another customer
    All date changes depend on availability and the products required.

Is there a minimum order?

Yes. There is a minimum hire of 8 chairs.
Current stock levels:

  • 32 wooden chairs

  • 10 tables (each seating up to 4 children)
